My Passion for Fishing
I wasn't always an active person, but I have always been a fly fisherman. After some setbacks I joined up with my father and started helping him take care of his hobby/business (Banks Outdoor Products Inc.). dad started the business 35 years ago now we carry over 65000 dozen flies at all times and have two factories that tie exclusively for us

Every day, meet yourself where you are. We all stand upon our stack of yesterday's. My stories and tips might not be for where you are, but you can adapt them to your own adventure. What challenges me today? Banks Outdoor Products started as a Hobby for my dad after he retired some 40 years ago. Eventually it became "Banks Outdoor Products Inc." writing invoices by hand until 2019, refusing to even look at a computer. I think he has seen his own (my) web page once because he does not even have internet at our shop. (his cabin) I am slowly dragging his hobby into the 21st century. he just told me that he would write me a short story about how he started the business. I will post it when he does it.... dad is 94 years old this year.2025
